haven't updated this thing in a minute.

I still have a hard time navigating through the simplest shit in deviant art at times. They've needed to upgrade the look and network dramatically, instead the only stand out change i've noticed over this past year is what? We can print and send shit to our cell phones?

if i can stay motivated, i might draw more. honestly, the only reason this site is still alive is because of things like myspace and youtube keeping personal pages of -insert purpose here- popular.

for a site based on art, it really doesn't look at that great. gray is kind of dull and usually represents old mid 90s programming sites. even porn sites have brighter color schemes than deviantart. some of you might not think that matters, but it actually does effect the brain.

i refuse to add all the unnecessary mood box fill ins at the bottom.

I've gone through some boring ass changes over the past two years. Here I am though.

First off I wanna give shout outs. Yea it's lame but I havent been here in a while.

Shout out to Zion Prime. He's managed to tough out a couple of losses or atleast to the public eye, it hasn't slown down his artwork or anything. He keeps on going and giving a 110% So cool.

Shout to the Night. I know some of the things you've been feeling all to well bro. Alot of brothas (lol sounds weird when i use the word outloud) but yea alot feel the same, it's easy to feel isolated from a world where it seems like everyone but you is still happy. But I wish you better long and just keep a good amount of strength by yourside, thats what helps me break through.

Last but not least, JuhFreak. When I saw this girls pictures for the first time I realized how beautiful she was. When I read some of her essays I realized how smart she was. The first thing I ever saw from her was her artwork so I already knew how talented she was. That's pretty amazing in my book. I don't really know to many christians but she stands up for what she beleives in and is pretty damn smart about it. This is the one person whom if she said something I'd normally find offensive, I probably wouldn't be offended if it came from her. Take good care of that brain and that heart. Sadly I wish I could come across more people like you in reality and know them more than as aqquaintances.

Also, I've noticed not many people including myself draw alot of battle scenes. I think I need to go back into that, draw like chatoic splash pages. It would be fun

Will I be on DA regularly now? Probably not. But I'm still here right? I check back on a weekly basis and I didn't forget anyone, even the names I didn't mention.

So yea, theres this style of animation called machinima, basically making movies inside of a video game.

I purchased "The Movie" a product specifically for that.

However...my computer can't play it, you need an uber-computer like everything else..

This disappoints me.

I'm trying to take baby steps back into the artworld but the excitement in a life filled with imagination really does die out. As an artist I am dying. And that makes life feel average.

Sounds.. Music wise, i'm having a little fun, using a combination of programs to compose music on my computer. Only problem is i'm not even a musician, so its just me fucking around and trying my best, doing the math in my head to put down notes i know i can make work.

I haven't drawn a single comic in fucking ages. I think i really should have surrounded myself with other artist somehow. Thats what made it cool. I mean think about it, if your in a band that played a specific genre of music, would you want to be the only band playing that genre? You'd be touring alone, and when your fans get tired of your shit, they'll move onto something else entirely. Like if you were the only rapper or metal band on earth, you'd die out as the only rapper or metal band on earth. No inspirations, no competitions, nothing.

As confusing as that sounds, i hope its clear what i mean. For the time being i'm the only one i know that draws. Just about everyone else has either stopped or no longer exist in my life, except for you few here on DA.

hm... so confused. however there was this one part in the Marvel: Civil War book about captain america going through the same shit. He stares at a piece of paper, trying to figure out why he stopped drawing, now drawing is not a captain america hobby i remember lol, but the way the narrative is written, you can tell it came from the comic creators personal experiance. Where one day you can just look at a blank page, draw, and your mind is on the page. Before you know it , you stop.

Once apon of time i used to give you all some of my most pointless rants about things down to movies if not my own life.

X-men 3...whoever wrote that script needs to be punched in the fucking face

X1- didn't mind it not being perfect, x-men has a huge story line after all let alone i know the rules of a movie adaptation

x2- a little better, made the franchise look promising as the number of characters grew

x3 - cut out half the characters and pretty much gave all the dialog to 5 actors. everyone else was kind of just like there.... Cyclops may suck but he's a main fucking character, give the mother fucker more than 3 minutes on screen. x-men should have 7 leading characters with everyone else as support, x-2 kinda did that so wtf happened here? wolverine fight scenes are typical, the fast ball special is that shit you do with a little sibling or cousin when you swing them around in the living room. ice man lol.... c'mon, well atleast the little teen romance thing was cute if not corney. kitty looked cuter than rogue, only younger, the guy that plays iceman is older than me, shawn ashmore is it? kitty pride looked like my little brothers age. Halley barry tries wayyyyyy to fucking hard to act in general, let alone they gave her the usual stupid ass hair cut when they coulda just used extentions if they wanted to avoid the wig.

Colossus and storm are russian and african. I guess actors with accents was out of the questions.

Kelsey grammer nailed beast lol... well besides the fact that he was standing up straight, i've never seen a picture of a verticle beast, so it looked really weird. But atleast him and the guy that did nightcrawler in the last film nailed down the roles. everyone else kind of flunked besides the old geezers.

Pheonix was a huge ass story line on its own, the shit might as well had been about her and the sentinels with the cure as a backdrop to the story rather than a lead.

Where the fuck is gambit?

I dont wanna see an x4, fuck that shit. Maybe i'm too much of a "fan boy" then again, x-men books were never first place for me, it was just something i grew up with on the side so all the knowledge i have is either from bored days or cartoons. i actually know alot of people that know shit about the comic story line i still havent learned yet, nor care to. Whatever the incarnation be, games, movies, comics, cartoons, when it comes to x-men i guess i'm realllly picky about it. Sometimes its portrayed as fucking star trek on earth practically.

I think x-men should just be a tv series like smallville, with a good writer. it has to many characters and to long of a story arch to fucking have just any random hollywood guy write the shit.

Last but not least about my bitching. I expected alot more, but whatever, the sad side to comic book movies is that 60% of them will suck unless your just in the mood to watch superheroes on the big screen. a majority of the directors that make these movies dont even read the material nor care for anything geek related even though they have geek jobs. The directors that do read the fucking comics are the ones that are actually making the movies good. well ....sometimes... but yea for the most part, these guys are making movies for movie goers, not fans of where the movie comes from. Which i think is lame because if a movie is gonna drift to far, you might as well make your own original shit rather than taking on the project of someone elses creation and fucking it up.

Yeah I've got atleast a good 30 things i should've uploaded these past four months. However my motive for art has been like bleh.

I think its better to have art for expression rather than always bitching. I gotta find the holy light again.
