This is a true piece of art. I highly recommend picking it up.

If you have a story in works, visual or comic format to tell based on raw emotion, this is a great book to pump you up. Sadly (or fortunately) I've gone numb over the past few years, so using depression and sadness, or strong feelings in general is hard for me to put into art other than my music.

The raw art James O'Barr pumps into the reprinted graphic novel is just amazing. I can only say that in circles. What starts of free and flawed becomes intense, dark and detailed as you reach the climax of this book. It's no Alan Moore story, this is the kind of book you feel. I think each of us out there has a creation like that.

This was a highly popular indie comic of the 80s that spawned the Brandon Lee story. Even James O'Barr's background in life kind of adds to the understanding.
